Sustainability Program Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Program Manager to lead and coordinate our Climate & Sustainability Impact (CSI) programs end-to-end. This role is ideal for candidates with deep experience in project & program management, sustainability, climate action, and/or agricultural development.
As a core member of the team, you will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams—including PMO, field operations, dijital agronomy support, production, technical support, etc. You will also act as the primary liaison with multinational clients, partners, and field stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Head of CSI and plays a critical part in the strategic execution of sustainability programs within global agri-food systems.
Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of global climate and sustainability programs, from planning and design to execution, monitoring, and closure.
Develop detailed program plans, timelines, budgets, KPIs, impact frameworks, and risk assessments.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, timely, and high-quality program delivery.
Manage day-to-day communication with multinational clients, partners, farmers, and internal stakeholders.
Prepare professional proposals, sustainability reports, progress updates, and executive presentations.
Integrate global sustainability standards (GHG Protocol, SBTi, LCA, regenerative agriculture metrics, biodiversity indicators) into program designs.
Oversee data collection activities involving IoT devices, remote sensing, farmer surveys, and field observations.
Contribute to methodological development in carbon accounting, regenerative agriculture, soil health monitoring, and sustainability impact measurement.
Represent Doktar and CSI at stakeholder workshops, field visits, and industry events.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a renowned university in a related discipline.
5–6 years of relevant experience in project & program management, sustainability/climate programs, agri-food systems or agricultural development or consulting.
PMP certification is preferred.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Strong coordination, planning, and organizational abilities.
Proven capability to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously and deliver under pressure.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
Familiarity with carbon accounting, regenerative agriculture, or ESG reporting (preferred).
Willingness to travel occasionally for fieldwork and client meetings.
